The prevalence of AIDS in Indonesia increased every year, which warrants an awareness of ocular manifestation in patients with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). Ocular manifestation occur in 70% - 100% of patients with HIV infection. A 47-year-old male approached the Infection and Immunology Clinic with blurry vision in both eyes. He was treated using prednisolone acetate eyedrops, but there was no clinical improvement. Examination showed vitreous haziness in both eyes. Visual acuity was 1/60 in both eyes with flare and cells +3. A uveitis workup was conducted, which revealed positive results for HIV, herpes simplex virus, and syphilis. The patient was administered 100mg of doxycycline two times daily and a fixed-dose tablet containing a combination of antiretroviral drugs. Three months later, visual acuity was 6/10 in the right eye and 6/18 in the left eye. Prompt diagnosis and treatment via a multidisciplinary approach by an ophthalmologist, an allergist and immunologist, and a dermatovenerologist resulted in a good prognosis. © 2020 Nova Science Publishers, Inc..
